On Friday, I woke up and decided that I just needed to get away from everything. I just wanted to get away from all the drama, the problems and the worries in my life. Originally, I wanted to go out the Roanoke for no apparent reason, so I started heading out that way. About right when I was about to get there, I decided instead to go travel the Blue Ridge Parkway instead. So, I got off US Route 460 in Bedford, and took Route 43 all the way up. I must say, it just reminded me of a more simpler life, with mountains, country side, and fresh air. When I finally got to the Parkway, I turned off the GPS, and just headed north on the Parkway. Without a care in the world I drove with the windows down, the radio off, and just me taking in all there was too see. I enjoyed every minute of it, not knowing whats ahead and seeing all that was there too see. All in all, it took about three hours from Bedford to right outside of Waynesboro, VA before it gotten too late and I had to go home. I just wished I just had more time. If I did, I would of definitely continued on the road all the way up to where I can get off onto Interstate 66 and Travel towards DC and eventually back home.

All in all, I just felt more happier and better about myself. One day, I will finish up the drive... But for now, things just seem alot more calmer in the soul.
